WHERE TO SHOP IN PANAMA

From 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. you can do all of your shopping in Panama inside shopping malls. Each of these centers have National Police in charge of security which is supported by the everyone.

Panama Ctiy is a paradise for shopping in Panama accounts for recognized brand names and international stores like Kenneth Cole, Tommy Hilfiger, Sketchers, Nike, Nine West, Leonisa, Sony, Guess, Sanborns, Zara, to name a few.

Shopping in Panama can be done in Multiplaza Pacific, Multicentro, Albrook Mall, Plaza Concordia, Plaza Carolina, Via España and Central Avenue, among other centers for shopping in Panama.  Shopping in Panama can be done in hotels, since the majority of them have their own centers for shopping in Panama.

Metro Mall is a new center being built and will be located just a few minutes from Tocumen International Airport.  The Poma Group is behind the project and this coming mall will cover 23 hectares of land with a tremendous selection of stores.

Electronic equipment, audiovisual, video, jewelry, shoes, cosmetics, perfumes, toys, lingerie and hats are part of the type of shopping in Panama that thousands of tourists do each year. Shopping in Panama can also be done in wholesale at the Colon Free Zone this is in the case of foreigners, who with only presenting their passport can enter this commercial emporium.

When shopping in Panama you can also acquire crystal ware, silverware, ornaments, things for your home and your cars, rugs, in addition to all types of duty free souvenirs for the foreigners that do their shopping in Panama.

El Machetazo, El Rey Supermarket, Super 99, El Xtra and Riba Smith are some of the supermarkets where you can do your  grocery shopping in Panama. They're all set up to accept major credits and in some cases an out of country check. 

The United States Dollar circulates in Panama; therefore, if you need to exchange your coins you can do it in the different cash houses located in the centers for shopping in Panama and its surroundings.

All of the centers for shopping in Panama have a food court, movies, stores of recognized international and national brands, including bars for the enjoyment of the adults doing their shopping in Panama.  In the case of Multiplaza Pacific there are roofed football courts with artificial lawns and there is also central air conditioning in the entire mall.
