Located on the Western Pacific shores of Panama we find the province of Chiriqui.  The productive region of Chiriqui is very calm and cozy, thus it has the most beautiful panoramic views that fascinate all of its visitors.

The prosperous and hardworking Chiriqui is found at 486 km from the city capital.  To travel to this spectacular  province of Panama there are diverse options such as the bus service that is provided by the Albrook Transportation Terminal and the flights offered by the national airlines at the Marcos A. Gelabert airport in Albrook and the David International Airport in Chiriqui in Panama.  The flight takes approximately 1 hour.

Chiriqui has 13 districts, among them we have: Alanje, Baru, Boquete, Boqueron, Bugaba, David and San Lorenzo to name a few, and has a territorial extension of 6,476.2 km2.

The province of Chiriqui in Panama is a mountainous region with a fresh and pleasant climate, especially in the district of Boquete where the abundance of natural resources and primary and secondary forests stand out.  This region is surrounded by a diverse fauna that is enriched with streams, rivers and ravines of crystalline water.  In addition, Chiriqui is well known for the Fair of Flowers and Coffee that is carried out in Boquete.

David is another district of the province of Chiriqui where you can enjoy stupendous tropical heat, it is characterized for being a very commercial city and it is the main center of agriculture and cattle farming. 

Among the most outstanding events of this district of Chiriqui is the International Fair of San Jose.  This activity consists of bringing the productive and economic activities of Chiriqui to the attention of the rest of the country and the world.

The extraordinary province of Chiriqui has exotic places to visit like the Baru Volcano, the highest point of Panama with an altitude of 3,475 meters above sea level.  Due to this, this zone has a very cold climate and can be admired for its beautiful flora and lush forests.  

The thermal waters are another important attraction that is found in the area of Caldera, Galique and Cotito in this province. Las Lajas, La Barqueta, Palo Blanco and San Lorenzo are white sand beaches with ideal waters for aquatic activities.

The economy is based, mainly, on the agricultural and cattle farming sector, since the province is one of the main providers of food for the rest of the Republic.  Among the main agricultural products of Chiriqui we have coffee, oranges and strawberries.
