PARQUE INTERNACIONAL LA AMISTAD -  a binational national reserve (Panama-Costa Rica), located by the mountains in Chiriqui and Bocas del Toro on the Panamanian side.

PARQUE NACIONAL VOLCAN BARU -  national park home of the highest point in the country of Panama which is Volcano Baru.
