Cambutal is located in Los Santos, 24 km away from Tonosi. If you visit the Cerro Hoya National Park you would be able to se Cambutal’s vast vegetation from different points like Cerro Cambutal (900m), Cerro Hoya (1559m), and Cerro Olla (1209m). Also you will be able to see the amazing view of the Ventana River and Restringue River.
The town of Cambutal and the coast is surrounded by fields, and big trees. Cerro Hoya and Cambutal are the main natural beauties where you can see different bird species and monkeys like the howler monkey; you can hear them from Punta Blanca. Among the different animals that you can admire in this area you will se capuchin and titi monkeys, deers, peccaries, and several snake species.
When you visit Cambutal we recommend that you:

• Mosquito repellent
• Don’t trow away or burn garbage
• The nearest police station and hospital are in Tonosi
