How to get to La Barqueta from Panama City

You take a bus from Panama City to the city of David. From there you would take a bus leaves  at 8:00 p.m. It takes two hours or so to get to the beach. You can also come by car but it is difficult to find a place to park since the beach is such a highly visited place for recreation.

For people that like to be in touch with nature, La Barqueta beach is a place where there are plenty of flora and fauna. The biodiversity in this place is astonishing, that many people do not know and can come visit when in Panama.

This lovely beach, a side from its international importance, has a habitat for aquatic birds. Other riches in its fauna are otters, raccoons, squirrels, agoutis (ñeques), among other animals. Another attraction is its abundant vegetation and some forests.
