A few minutes from the Tocumen International Airport there is the township of "24 de Diciembre" that has been growing steadily over the years with it's low priced housing. This township of  includes the following sectors: Los Angelles N° 1 and N° 2, Vista Hermosa, Monte Rico, Cabuyita, Ranco Cafe, Nueva Esperanza, Nuevo Tocumen, San Pedro, Buena Vista, El Lago, Cerro Azul and Altos de Cerro Azul.

This sector has recently restored many of it's roads, widening the streets and building bridges to make traffic more fluid and avoid congestion. In La 24 de Diciembre you will also find the shopping mall "La Doña' which has different businesses such as:

Super 99: a Panamanian supermarket chain with 24 hour service and plenty of security.

Banco General: a Panamanian Bank chain with personalized services for all its clients. They open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays.

Restaurants: this shopping mall has different restaurants among them are fast food chains such as KFC and McDonalds.
