How to get to Playa Hermosa

It is very easy, you only need to take a trip to the town of Horconcitos in Chiriqui; if you are going to do so by bus, it leaves from the Albrook Terminal (Terminal Nacional de Transporte de Albrook for its name in Spanish) and you will have to get off where you see a sign that signals the entrance to the town, then you should wait for a bus that goes to Horconcito or if you like you can take a taxi; once you are in town it will take you about 20 to 25 minutes to get to the beach.

Attractions and distractions around the area

You will be mystified by this beach, its name describes it perfectly; in addition it has colored stones, which make it more beautiful and also has small waves; here you can rest, play volleyball and best of all take a nice dip in the waters of Playa Hermosa.

This beach is visited by nationals as well as foreigners that come by to enjoy and have fun at the beach; if you like you can take a tent and food to cook while you are in the area, since you will not find a restaurant or food store nearby, or if you like at the entrance to the beach there is a house and the gentleman who lives there sells food and rents you the bathroom for your comfort.

Remember to take a camera to capture all of those lovely memories on your visit to Chiriqui and above all to Playa Hermosa.  If you would like to camp in the area, keep in mind that you should take a first aid kit, comfortable clothing, sneakers, hat, sun block and above all a water bottle.
